Fall…what an exciting time of year. From back to school and football games, to Halloween and Holiday preparations, there is so much going on and the same can be said for the Charity League as well. From meetings and Bargain Fair to stocking stuffers and Holiday planning, we are all hard at work once again to support the League’s mission to promote the growth and development of children in Martinsville and Henry County.

As the 2008-2009 President, I am proud to be affiliated with such a wonderful group of women who from the beginning in 1931 got involved to make a difference in our community. Although the league has changed over the years, I think you will find one thing has remained the same…the dedication and support of the over 400 women who have been a part of the Charity League of Martinsville and Henry County.
