After surveying sustainers and actives, we realized the need to combine our mission and service opportunities with occasions for members to become more aquainted with one another.

One of the first events we have planned is a "Stocking Stuffer Party". This event coincides with our yearly donation to the stocking program through The Salvation Army. Instead of passing out stockings to members to fill and return, we have decided to get together for the stuffing. We are asking members to either bring enough merchandise to fill two stockings or donate $20 for the purchase of bulk items. The ?Stuffing Party will be held at the Salvation Army Building (Old Williamsburg Cafeteria) on Sunday, November 16 from 2:00-5:00PM. Members and Sustainers are encouraged to join us to get an early start on your Christmas spirit of giving.

Another event that we are planning is the, "Open Your Hearts" fundraising ball. This is scheduled for February 7, 2004. Mark your calendars and get ready to have a ball! We are hoping to raise money to support a renewable scholarships fund. This event will surely be top of the line. Space will be limited, so start getting your tables together.
