Children swimming and playing tag, husbands commiserating about their busy wives and "testing" the food, and women enjoying meeting families and catching up with each other was the scene at the annual Board-Provisional Social this summer.

The event took place on the grounds of Cindy and Steve Edgerton's home in Rangeley. The board members provided the side dishes and drinks while Steve cooked a shrimp broil under a shade tree in the Edgertons' back yard.

After a brief board meeting, the casual gathering was a fun way for the Officers of the board to get to know the provisionals and their families.

Once again, it was confirmed that this year's new class will be a wonderful asset to The League for years to come.
