The holiday cocktail party, directed by Tiffany Coleman, was a wonderful success. The decorations on the table and throughout the house were striking and elegant, the food delicious, and the conversation light and entertaining.
Many members enjoyed conversations with the sustainers about times past and expressed how much Charity League has meant to them as an outlet for helping children in the community over the years. Several of us also enjoyed admiring the ladies’ holiday dresses. (Tiffany Coleman won the unofficial ‘Cutest Dress Award’.) To those unable to attend, please know you were missed and we look forward to seeing you at the Spring Provisional & Sustainer Dessert in 2009 as the next time we can all visit again.
