October is Child Abuse and Domestic Violence month.  We are partnering with the Citizens Against Family Violence (CAFV) and will be helping with two events.  “Take Back the Night” is a yearly program held at Jack Dalton Park, highlighting the need for safety and the options for assistance for families who face domestic violence.  We will be helping with the set up and decorating for this event.  We will also be assisting with CAFV’s “Mall-o-ween Project.”  This yearly event, held at the Patrick Henry Mall, provides a safe environment for our local children to Trick-or-Treat.  Janine Jacob is this month’s chair.
